Ultraliner Boiler Truck: Miscellaneous

Important Note: The following boiler truck configuration is used by Ultraliner's Field Service crew and is provided as an example only. Ultraliner, Inc. does not endorse the use of any particular manufacturer's equipment. Ultraliner, Inc. does not specify equipment requirements, but rather offers information regarding the general practice of Ultraliner's installers to provide guidance in a contractor's selection of equipment. The interpretation and application of the following information rests solely with the contractor. Each contractor must independently determine the cost, size, design use, and capacity of their own selection of equipment. Each contractor must independently insure the safety of their equipment and the compliance of their equipment with local and national regulations.

Leveling Jacks:

For proper and safe operation a boiler should be leveled. Independently operated left and right jacks facilitate rapid leveling of the boiler truck. Leveling jacks improve productivity and decrease wear and tear on the truck.

Steam Hose Storage
& Rear Tool Box:

The steam hoses are stored in compartments extending the length of the Ultraliner Boiler Truck. These compartments keep the hoses untangled, out of the way and immediately and easily accessible.

The rear tool box provides convenient storage for the most commonly used tools and plugs. The tool box lid and support chains are extra-sturdy to enable use as a step or stand.

Storage Space & Spare Parts:

Tool boxes are conveniently located on each side of the rear of the truck.

The spaces above the after-cooler and below the reserve water tank are used for storage of spare parts and various equipment including a collection of flow-through plugs in sizes up to 36".

A large selection of spare parts are stored within the Ultraliner Boiler Truck. Lost productivity costs far more than the expense of carrying spare parts in inventory.

Power Cords, Water Hoses, & Ropes Storage:

Cords, hoses, and ropes have a tendency to entangle and to get in the way unless an effort is specifically made to properly store them.

Owner's Manuals:

The owner's manuals of all Ultraliner Boiler Truck equipment are kept readily available for reference in a conveniently mounted compartment.
